Infoplug is committed to transparent, ethical, and compliant use of data. Our API is built to respect privacy and operate within the legal boundaries of global data regulations.

All data surfaced via Infoplug is sourced from publicly available or legally authorized sources. We do not use unauthorized scraping or extract data from private user accounts.
2. Lawful Use Only
Customers must ensure their use of Infoplug data complies with relevant laws, including:
- GDPR (EU)
- CCPA/CPRA (California, US)
- PECR (UK)
- Any regional privacy and consumer protection laws
3. No Storage of Sensitive Personal Information
Infoplug does not store or process sensitive personal identifiers such as health records, passwords, credit card numbers, or personal messages.

While we aim to provide the most up-to-date data possible, Infoplug makes no guarantees regarding completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of third-party data.
5. Acceptable Use of Data
You may not use Infoplug data to:

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure end-user compliance when embedding or utilizing Infoplug data within their own platforms or services.
